All Patients who have Chronic Medical Conditions are entiltled for a FULL Health Assessments and Management Plan once every 2 years, and reviews every 6 months. Pap Smears are recommended every 2 years unless stated otherwise by a health professional. Patients who are between 45-49 years old are eligible for a full health assessment during this period of time. Asthma assessments are conducted every 2 years with a follow up review after 6 months. Vaccinations as per Health Department Regulations.  Inflenza Vaccinations are available from February 2008. For Any queries contact the Practice for more information.

Consultation Fees

We are a Bulk Billing practice for patients who hold a current Medicare Card.  There is a once off Registration Fee of $10.00 for new patients. For patients who do not hold a current medicare card, please contact us for an up to date version of our fees and charges.

 Student who hold a valid AHM Card will be charged only a gap fee per consultation. Conact us at the Practice on (07) 55 622 910 for an up to date version of our fees and charges.

Additional fees may apply for some services. These are listed below -

• Dysport (Botulin Toxin)
• Travel Vaccinations
• HPV Vaccine (For Non-Eligible Patients)
• Ear & Nose Piercing
• Registration Fee (New Patients Only - Once Off Fee of $10.00)

After Hours Medical Care

Riverwalk Medical Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.  Saturdays  from 8am to 1pm. Consultations are also bulk billed during this time for patients who hold a current Medicare Card. Closed Public Holidays.

Medcall offers bulk billed home visits to patients who hold a current medicare card and are located on the Gold Coast.
